from my class post update...
I'll get home monday, but today I left home (AH ! I mean Koung Jor. and that mis type gives you the sense of how I felt leaving than any description could.)
I miss Sai Oo already, and Astra came the day before so we could talk a bit, and both of them welcome me back at any time to Mae Hong Son and Koung Jor, and Sai Lang mentioned if I wanted after I graduated maybe I could come back and teach or take care of the kids, and its already planted in my head. I'd like to do a full school year, or a full year, year. And so I don't acknowledge that I won't see them again because I will! This is longer than I thought. Anyways, got a ride with the Frenchman and his Thai lawyer, who were negotiating about building another permanent building in camp with the Thai gov, and driving with them halved the time. 4 to 2 hours to Chiang Mai. He drives like a nut. Really. And tomorrow night is the overnight bus, my fave, and a nighttime flight.
