Khun Yuam!

Whew. I'm out of saeree wittaya, which is relieving a bit, but also makes me nervous since again, I don't know what is happening. The last two days were very laid back, no classes, although a group of small girls waylaid me with their beginning english book and just pointed and had me read, some times repeating, sometimes giggling, mostly stepping on my feet. They were super cute. Shuffling skills are really coming along, and I've taught two students how to play speed as well, which is fun. Ended up not going to Mae Hong Son- the director told me another teacher would take me to Khun Yuam to meet with Ploy, the english teacher I met earlier. Next week is scout camp at the school, which I'll probably end up going back to.. but maybe something will come up instead. Or maybe I"ll decide to try something new, but free living is hard to pass up. We'll see what the weekend brings. The hour motorcylcle ride was amazing here. I adore these bikes, and it feels like such a great experience through the beauty of the mountains adn small villages, winding curves and stunning views. This is one of my favorite things to do. I want one. I even got brave enough to let go of the handrests and drink the rest of my Leo beer, with a leapord on it, that we had stopped to get, as we were driving. I felt really cool, no lie. So, now I"m here in Khun Yuam, waiting for Ploy. When we got here, where she lives is also a small convenience store ish thing and has three computers 4 computers that boys come and play games on, I saw two teachers and a truck full of studnets I hadn't conciously realized were gone- but they're the ones who talk to me most, so that's what it's been so slow at Saerree. A man working here knew a little english, and he told me he studied law at university- when he came out later with a badge and gun, I think he must mean like police law, not lawyer law, which had seemed weird in this little town. I thought he was taking me to meet ploy with him, obviously not. But I wait. the teachers left, and noy said she would talk to the director about getting me back to the school next week. Since I don't have other options yet, Emmett still hasn't gotten back to me, I'll just go with it for now. I"m trying to stay calm and relaxed- I got to eat a chocolate ice cream bar, which was amazing. And it's really hot, but I'm staying in the shade, also nice. Hopefully the weekend comes with fun and inspiration for my project.. eeeeep. :/
