Last night

was actually kinda great, in small ways. I had dinner brought to me in the directors house, awkward as usual, but one of the girls was much more forward and started telling me the names of all these things in Thai. From that, she went on to make fun on her friends, and try to explain it to me, and that was half the joke, which I appreciated. I mean, some times things are just funny. then a few other girls came up, and one knew I had cards from the last time, so we listened to some music, played cards, they talked and taught me a few words, and it just felt a little social. Who cares if they're only, eh, 13? 12? 14? I can't tell.. haha. And a few stayed with me in the room, which was nice to have company. It's comforting in the strange place to be near people. Still don't know about the Woman's Union, but hopefully I will soon. The lesson I taught today, to the uppermost class, was still pretty bad... I guess if it doesn't work out for me to teach somewhere else, I'll just have to figure out a way to get across.
